One Lafayette

Because of continued economic uncertainty and the desire to reimagine this program, including the integration into a potential tax to support mental health and human services, staff is recommending to honor only the multi-year agreements that have been established at this time. Please watch for an update in 2022.

Helping Local Nonprofit Organizations

The City of Lafayette finances a community fundraiser to help local nonprofit organizations provide essential services. Items that the programs help provide include:

  • Food, shelter, and other emergency family assistance programs
  • Medical care for low-income families and the uninsured
  • Support and services for at-risk children
  • Transportation, support, independence, and dignity for the elderly, developmentally disabled, and physically challenged
  • Tutoring, mentoring, and leadership programs for young people
