Administration
The chief of police, support services division chief, administrative sergeant, and administrative assistant comprise the Administration Division. This division coordinates and administers overall direction to the agency and its personnel. The division acts as liaison to members of the community, other city departments, as well as other criminal justice agencies.

Animal Control
The Animal Control Officers are responsible for many aspects of animal control, including licensing, animals at large, dangerous animals, returning lost animals to their owners, barking dogs, investigating dog bites, and animal cruelty cases.

Operations Division
The Operations Division provides patrol, investigative, and animal control services to the 9.5 square mile city 24/7. The members in this division are generally the first people to respond to calls for service.

Records Division
The Records Division is the custodian of all police reports. This division processes, maintains, and preserves all documentation produced by the officers of the department. The division provides customer service and support to residents, department members, and other law enforcement agencies.

Support Services Division
The Support Services Division is responsible for the business related operations of the department such as budget, grants, recruiting, hiring / training, and public information. This division manages community affairs, crime prevention, records, staffing / personnel, and the Volunteers in Police Services Program.
