Ballot Question 2D – City Council Compensation - Passed
Because of the amount of time and personal resources required to fulfill the duties of a City Councilor, the monthly compensation for members of the Lafayette City Council is proposed to increase or decrease, in all even numbered years, by the same collective percentage rates as the general City employees for the immediate two calendar years.
This ballot question is setting the implementation method to be used for future Council compensation increases/decreases, and is not setting a specific salary for City Council.
