National Novel Writing Month
Every November, celebrate National Novel Writing Month with a short story contest for kids and teens in grades K-12.
Reading, Writing, and Maker Buddies
Reading Buddies is a free program matching kids in grades K-3 with teens in grades 6-12 to play literacy games and have fun! Writing Buddies teen mentors lead kids in grades 3-5 in group exercises, sharing stories and doing writing games, while Maker Buddies teens help kids learn to do projects in the Makerspace.
Every year from June 1 - July 30, join us for online and in-person summer reading for all ages, featuring virtual and in-person activities and challenges.
