Artist Statement
One of three birds in the Midnight Stomp Series. We all dance to a different drummer. This bird is doing the Midnight Serenade, another of the birds is dancing the Electric Slide, and the last bird is dancing the Twist and Shout. All ll the antics that the birds display in the daylight hours when they preen, sing, and hop are just a small window into their private world, I wanted to capture a private moment just for the birds. The birds are having their own private party in the moonlight – stomping, whooping and having a grand old time.
