Nature Kids Discovery Zone / Inspire Trail

Nature is the best playground!

The highly anticipated Nature Kids Discovery Zone, on the grounds of Alicia Sanchez International Elementary School, was spearheaded by the City of Lafayette and a grant from Great Outdoors Colorado.

This two-acre property has been developed to include nature components such as boulders, logs, climbing trees, wetland features, and community gathering spaces: all aimed at enhancing children’s experience with the outdoors and their natural surroundings, and connecting families to nature.

The new Inspire Trail provides a mile of connectivity from eastern portions of Lafayette to and from Old Town and along the Discovery Zone.
