Art Table To Go Kits
Sign up now for a kit, pick up your kit during any hours the Collective is open. Complete your art project at home. Suited for all ages. Most materials included. Some household items may be needed.

Studio Art Kits
Developed by artists for at home creativity. These free, advanced art kits available for pick up from The Collective. The recommended age is listed in the kit description. Kits come complete with all materials and a link to video instruction from the artist. The number of kits is limited, please sign up to reserve your Studio Art Kit.
Handbuilding Techniques with Cannon St. CeramicsJoin Kyle Gutierrez on Zoom to learn several hand building techniques and create your own ceramic vessel. Pick up your free kit of clay and ceramics supplies from Cannon Street Studio, join the Zoom demonstration on Saturday, March 6. This workshop will cover 3 basic hand building techniques. Return your creation to the studio so it can be glazed and fired in the kiln. Suited for ages 10+. Limit 20 people. Sign-up required. | |
Articulated Figure from a Photo: Advanced Studio Art KitCreate an articulated figure or doll using a template or a photo. Denise Chaudhari shows all of the steps on a YouTube Video. Each kits comes with all of the supplies needed and the YouTube link to make your own articulated person beginning with a blank piece of paper. She reviews basic drawing, transfer techniques, watercolor tips, and assembly. This project requires some advanced skills and is suitable for high school and up. Sock Monkey Studio Art KitAll of these kits are out in the community, but the Sock Monkey fun is not over! You may watch Stacey B.'s tutorial video and get the written directions in English or Spanish. The written directions include a supply list. Enjoy making your very own Sock Monkey! |

Lafayette Arts & Cultural Resources Department, in conjunction with the Lafayette Cultural Arts Commission and the Public Art Committee, offer a variety of diverse programming. Most of these events are free and open to the public. Some require pre-registration.
