5 ways to prevent COVID-19

  1. Get vaccinated
Vaccines are safe, effective, and easy to access. Find a provider near you to get vaccinated against COVID-19, the flu, and get your booster. Learn more about getting kids vaccinated at www.covidfreekids.org.
  2. Wear a mask
Boulder County Public Health recommends everyone 2 years of age and older to wear a mask while around others.
  3. Practice social distancing and being in rooms with good ventilation
Stay six feet away from others whenever possible. If indoors, bring in fresh air by opening windows and doors, if possible.
  4. Wash your hands
Wash hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. Use an alcohol-based hand rub that contains 60% alcohol if soap and water are not available.
  5. Stay home if you’re sick
If you feel sick (fever, cough, difficulty breathing, fatigue, body aches, headache, loss of taste or smell, or sore throat), stay home, get tested, and isolate or quarantine if necessary.
