City Closures and Cancellations

-The City will continue providing essential municipal services to the community including public safety, water utilities, and general operations. Please view a list of ways to do business online with the City of Lafayette.

Due to COVID-19, the following facilities are CLOSED until further notice;

  • City Hall
  • Lafayette Senior Center
  • Lafayette Police Department Lobby
  • Miners Museum (call for current operational hours 303-665-7030 )
  • Mary Miller Theater

Meetings and events

  • While City Hall is closed to public access, City Council meetings will be held electronically with Council members attending remotely. Meetings will be broadcast live on Comcast Channel 8 and 881 and on lafayetteco.gov/StreamingVideo  A recorded version will be available at lafayetteco.gov/StreamingVideo  In addition to these options, a call-in number will be available for interested public members who prefer to participate in a listen-only mode via telephone.  
  • All Boards and Commission meetings are resuming, please check the calendar for updated information.

Senior Services

  • Resource coordination will continue while the Senior Center is closed to the public. This includes assistance and referrals for housing, transportation needs, legal issues, various assistance systems navigation, etc.  Call 303-665-9052 or Dinah.pollard@lafayetteco.gov
