Hatha YogaHatha yoga is the overarching umbrella of yoga that encompasses most of the traditional styles, including Vinyasa and Ashtanga. Hatha yoga is the fundamental system of yoga that focuses on the pairing of poses with breathing technique. Hatha yoga uses the practice of the poses to rinse out the body and build the physical strength and endurance required to spend long periods of time in meditation. Once the Hatha yoga practice is complete, the ideal mind body harmony has been created to facilitate deep, relaxing meditation.

Vinyasa FlowVinyasa is a style of yoga where poses are strung together to form one fluid sequence of movement. The class can be fast-paced and rhythmical, with a focus on connecting the movements with the rhythm of the breath. Vinyasa means to move with the breath, which is essentially the core of a Vinyasa class. Vinyasa Flow is a style of yoga with focus on transitions and movements, with less time spent in stationary poses. No two classes are ever the same, and often the sequences are creative and playful.
