To make a reservation using the WebTrac system:

You must have an account. If you or family members have participated in an activity, reserved a shelter, booked a birthday party, or purchased a pass to the BBRC, you ALREADY have an account with us! Please do not create a new account.

To recover your username or reset your password, you will need to know your primary email account in our system. Use the links below to access your account or call the front desk at 303-665-0469. Staff is ready to assist you whether you need your primary email address, username, or other information regarding your account with the Lafayette Recreation Department. 

  • If you have forgotten your username, you can request our system to email your WebTrac Username by clicking here.
  • If you have forgotten your password, you can create a new password.
  • If you are completely new to the BBRC, you can create an account after placing items in your cart or create an account in advance. You will not be able to use the facility without an account.

To cancel a reservation, call 303-665-0469. Online cancellations are not currently available. Due to limited capacity, we ask that you please cancel your reservation if you cannot use it. All reservations are non-refundable.

Water Aerobics is back!

Water Aerobics is back at the Bob L. Burger Recreation Center on Wednesdays.  10 participants per class. Participants can sign up on WebTrac or the front desk.

SilverSneakers® Classes

SilverSneakers® Stability

Movements taught in class focus on specific exercises to improve strength and power around the ankle, knee, and hip joints, while improving your reaction time. This class is designed for fall prevention and is suitable for nearly every fitness level. 

The class is Monday from 10-11am in the Lafayette Senior Center, 103 S. Iowa Avenue, Lafayette

SilverSneakers®  Classic

Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement, and activities for daily living.  Handheld weights, elastic tubing with handles, and a SilverSneaker® ball are offered for resistance.  A chair is available if needed for seated or standing support.  

Classes are held in the Bob L. Burger Recreation Center gym on: 

  • Mondays, 11:15am-12:15pm
  • Fridays, 10-11am and 11:15am-12:15pm

SilverSneakers® Yoga

Move your whole body through a complete series of seated and standing yoga poses.  Chair support is offered to safely perform a variety of seated and standing postures designed to increase flexibility, balance, and range of movement. Restorative breathing exercises and final relaxation will promote stress reduction and mental clarity.  

Classes are held in the Bob L. Burger Recreation Center gym on: 

  • Wednesdays, 10-11am 
  • Saturdays, 11:30am-12:30pm and 12:45-1:45pm

Thursday Trackers

Meet others who like walking around Old Town Lafayette or one of our local Open Spaces/parks.  At the end of the walk, we usually meet at a coffee shop to enjoy refreshments. Walk times vary according to the group, location of the walk, and weather (45-60 minutes). If you have walking sticks, please bring them. After the walk, enjoy refreshments at a local coffee shop (please bring money).

Tai Chi 1 - Hybrid

Tai Chi is a form of exercise that is easy and gentle. It involves a series of movements performed in a slow, focused manner and accompanied by deep breathing. Tai Chi develops body awareness to help balance, promote activity, and improve health and mobility. Improved mobility can help participants maintain independence and lead fuller lives. Tai Chi is generally safe for all ages and fitness levels and is excellent for those who dislike sweating too much. Classes are held at the Senior Center with limited participant numbers or virtually.

Tai Chi Form - Hybrid

The Tai Chi Form class, open to anyone with any experience level, covers the first third of the form with some meditation and warm-up. This class is held at the Senior Center with limited participant numbers or virtually.
