Nature Kids Interns
Lafayette has partnered with Lafayette Nature Kids, Thorne Nature Experience and Wildlands Restoration Volunteers to create paid high school internships each year.
The interns work weekly to restore, repair and enhance Lafayette Open Spaces. Activities include invasive species removal, native species plantings, trail repair, fence building, seed sowing, mulching and more. In addition to these activities, leadership, professional development and educational opportunities are provided weekly to the interns.
For more information about the internship, please visit the Nature Kids career page.
