Historic Preservation Board

Overview

The Historic Preservation Board advises the City Council in matters relating to historically significant structures and properties in the community. The board organizes walking tours, promotes local history, and develops architectural surveys. The seven members are appointed by the City Council for four-year terms. The Board reviews and refers nominations for historic landmark designation to the City Council and promotes historic preservation through a variety of programs.

Meetings

  • 6:30 pm on the 1st Monday of each month 
  • Meetings are held in Council Chambers, 1290 S. Public Road, Lafayette, Colorado.
