Residents with active service through the City of Lafayette will be billed the stormwater fee on their monthly bill. Stormwater is the water that flows through canals, creeks, and gutters that will be sent to our Water Reclamation plant to enhance the water quality of the city's watercourses, water bodies, and wetlands in a manner consistent with the Federal Clean Water Act.
