Building Permit Submittal Process
Contractors
Contractors can apply for over-the-counter building permits online using the City of Lafayette MyGov Online Portal with your MyGov Account. This option is only for quick reviews and not for those requiring a plan review. Once you submit your permit in MyGov, we will approve the permit and let you know by email that the permit is ready to pay.
