The Lafayette Fire Department protects our community by providing Fire and Emergency Medical Services through education, prevention, and mitigation, with dedication, commitment, and compassion for those we serve.

Vision Statement

Our continued vision is to keep moving the organization forward and provide the highest levels of customer service to the community and surrounding service areas. Our personnel are highly trained and motivated individuals who are consistently looking at ways to improve the overall system. Through education, training, seminars, and statistical data collection we are continually analyzing how to best provide services to the residents of Lafayette, as well as our neighboring cities, and towns. We look forward to serving the City of Lafayette.
