The City of Lafayette invites residents to enjoy the outdoors, learn about the several ways you can protect the Earth, fight climate change, and create a sustainable Lafayette every day. From shifting your ride to growing your own vegetables to reducing your waste, our collective actions can make a big difference for the health of our community.

At the event, learn from EV owners, pedal on energy bikes to make watermelon slushies, eat cookies cooked in a solar oven, listen to local musicians, enjoy food trucks, visit with over 25 sustainability vendors and receive a tour of our Outdoor Classroom led by local Lafayette and CU Boulder students. 

The event will take place at the Outdoor Classroom and the parking lot of the Bob L. Burger Recreation Center near the skate park. The event is family-friendly, and we encourage you to bike, carpool, bus, or walk to the event.
