It’s springtime and that means it’s time to get your gardens ready for the season.

Each spring the Public Works Department invites all Lafayette residents to pick up free, loose mulch at our Service Center. The mulch we have available comes directly from the branches collected from our residents during our Spring Cleanup event and from the Christmas trees collected during the holidays. Bring your shovels, buckets, and trailers to fill up on as much mulch as you need. Mulch will be available until all material is gone.  This is a self-service event and staff will only be onsite to provide traffic control. This event is weather-permitting.
