Due to a shift in weather conditions and anticipated thunderstorms, we unfortunately must POSTPONE today's Choreographic Ritual presentation for the Lafayette, CO community that was set to take place at 4 pm. 

We look forward to rescheduling this culminating activity for Ryder & my Artist Residency supported through The Collective Community Arts Center. Once new information has been confirmed, we will be in touch. 

A component of Wilkins’ dance and social justice work, The Conversation Series: Stitching the Geopolitical Quilt to Re-Body Belonging.  This work is designed to create brave and courageous spaces to bring together intergenerational members within a community to reflect on stories that inform our sense of belonging and community today, and dreams for a better future. This is the culminating event for a series of community-engagement activities collectively called Systems for Care and Repair. Each activity is connected to The Conversation Series: Stitching the Geopolitical Quilt to Re-Body Belonging, an ongoing and always shifting dance and social change work, confronting, and celebrating heritage, resiliency, justice, and hope.

With support made possible through Colorado Creative Industries and the National Endowment for the Arts with a Colorado Creates Creative Corps ARP grant as well as Arts in Society, this work will include several Colorado communities, including Lafayette.
