Kids in grades 3-5...have some science fun this summer! In Friday Science Club with PISEC, you and CU student mentors will have fun, hands-on physics experiments! Design your own experiments, work through a game board to earn prizes, record experiments in your own science notebook, and make a poster to hang in the Lafayette Library and share with our community! 

• Free; no materials required...just curiosity and excitement!
• Location and dates: meets in the lower-level Meeting Room on all Fridays from June 9-July 21 except July 14.
• How to sign up:
  • Sign up for the six-week session using the Begin Registration button on the Library's calendar. This club is designed for you to come every week (but it is ok if you need to miss one!).
  • Fill out the Research Consent Questionnaire after you register.
• About PISEC 
  Partnerships for Informal Science Education in the Community (PISEC) is a partnership-based outreach program run by JILA and the Physics Department at CU Boulder. We connect CU student volunteers with local K-12 students to engage in fun science experiments, and aim to cultivate interest in science and help youth participants develop a sense of themselves as a scientist.
