On October 17 a “panel raising” ceremony and informational tour was held at the new solar garden site east of the water reclamation plant along Hwy 7. Lafayette City Council and Community Energy Solar mounted solar panels in recognition of this innovative project and the future sustainability benefits it will bring to the Lafayette community.
This project is funded through Xcel's Solar*Rewards Program and Community Energy Solar at no cost to city taxpayers.
