[ARCHIVED] Police Looking for Assault Suspect

The Lafayette Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance with information about an assault that took place in the parking lot of the Lafayette DOLLAR TREE store on THURSDAY, October 17, 2013 around 4:45 P.M. After a verbal confrontation in the parking lot, an unknown male assaulted another male. The victim had a seizure and was transported to the hospital. Police are seeking witnesses and persons with information about this case and are trying to identify the suspect involved. The Dollar Tree is in the area of the Good Will store and Sprouts store at Highway 287 & South Boulder Road.

The suspect is described as a white or Hispanic MALE, 16-25 years old, wearing a WHITE SHIRT with red lettering that says “LA FAMILIA BOXING,” RED BASKETBALL SHORTS and a RED BALL CAP. The suspect got into an early model SMALL SUV THAT WAS LIGHT COLORED. He was with an older FEMALE wearing a dark colored jacket or sweater who drove the SUV they left in toward Highway 287.
