[ARCHIVED] Lafayette Police Arrest Four for Extensive Vandalism

Lafayette Police arrested four individuals on Wednesday, 11/13/13, at 11:56pm in reference to numerous criminal mischief violations that occurred throughout Lafayette over the past few nights. The suspects admitted to driving around the community shooting out vehicle and residential windows with a high powered CO2 BB pistol. So far, investigating officers have discovered nearly 40 damaged vehicles and residences in Lafayette. Arrested parties are identified as Nicholas Lujan (19), Devin Lujan (21), Matthew Ball (21) and Jessica Richards (21). Three of these parties are Lafayette residents and one is from out of state. All four were booked into Boulder County Jail. The Lafayette Police Department is working with surrounding agencies to determine if the suspects are also responsible for recent similar damage in other communities.
