[ARCHIVED] View Lafayette's primary and secondary routes for snow removal

Snowplow

The primary purpose of snowplowing is to clear the roads for our emergency response providers. Therefore the snowplow routes are divided into primary and secondary snow routes. Due to budget limitations, the Public Works Department does not plow citywide.

In addition to primary and secondary snow routes, priorities are also given to streets across from hospitals and school bus routes.

All remaining residential streets are only plowed or treated if snow accumulations exceed 12 inches of undrifted snow depth.

To view the City of Lafayette snow plow route maps, please click on the Public Works Snow & Ice Control link below.

For concerns on State Roads/Highways (7/Baseline East of 287, 95th/42 South of Arapahoe, 42/Empire, 287) please contact CDOT at 303-757-9011.
