[ARCHIVED] Volunteers needed for the 2014 Oatmeal Fest 5k Race on January 11

Oatmeal Fest

We are gearing up for the 18th Annual Oatmeal Festival Quicker Quaker 5K Race and looking for volunteers. At this time we're specifically looking for those who would be able to be a race marshal out on the course. These volunteers are critical to the safety of this event. We're also looking for a few to help at registration and in the finish line chutes so don’t hesitate to let us know if you are interested in these area as well. We will be holding a volunteer orientation on Friday, January 10th at 4pm to go over all volunteer information and expectations.

1) Race Marshall Volunteers
Date: Saturday, January 11th
Time: 8:30am – 11:30 (at the latest)
Location: Meet in the parking lot on South Public across from Chase Bank (this is the lot across the street to the south; you will be driven to your street location)
*This is will consist of making sure the runners stay on the course, directing traffic, and monitoring safety.

2) Registration Volunteers
Date: Saturday, January 11th
Time: 7am – 9:30am
Location: Rocky Mountain Center for the Musical Arts (across from Pioneer Elem. School)
*This will consist of handing out packets to pre-registered runners.

3) Finish Line Chute Volunteers
Date: Saturday, January 11th
Time: 9:30am – 11:30 (at the latest)
Location: Corner of Cleveland and Roosevelt (Finish Line)
*This will consist of helping our Timers record the runners as they cross the finish line.

Please let me know if you have any questions regarding any of the above volunteer areas.
