The 2013 Technical Update to the Comprehensive Plan is in the final stages of adoption and you are invited to attend a public hearing before City Council on Tuesday March 18, 2014. The hearing will be held sometime after 6:30 pm in the City Hall Council Chambers. At this public hearing the City Council will gather information from the public regarding the update and consider the input along with the Planning Commission’s recommendation for adoption.
Background
After a number of workshops, an open house and two public hearings, the Planning Commission recommended the City Council adopt the 2013 Technical Update to the Comprehensive Plan. The City Council held a workshop on March 4th to review the Update. The purpose of the Technical Update is to renew the 2003 Comprehensive Plan with current conditions and reflect recent trends in Lafayette.
