The Lafayette Fire Department takes great pride in providing fire, emergency medical, and rescue services to our community and is pleased to present its 2013 Annual Report.
Some of the 2013 highlights include;
*responded to a record breaking 1955 calls for service
*opened a second fire station next to Exempla Hospital
* the department’s overall average response time for “emergency” runs was 4:00 minutes - down 30 seconds from previous years
*72% of calls were for emergency medical treatment
