[ARCHIVED] Introducing Safety Pup

Safety Pup

The Lafayette Police Department is proud to partner with the National Child Safety Council to bring Safety Pup to the City of Lafayette. Safety Pup will be attending different events throughout the city with the police department to emphasize safety awareness.

Safety Pup made its debut at the annual Bike Rodeo on May 10, 2014. Many of the children who were in attendance had the opportunity to meet Safety Pup and interact. Safety Pup is a great addition to the Lafayette Police and we look forward to the children in the community getting familiar with him.

From right to left in photo with Safety Pup is Commander Brian Rosipajla, Crime Prevention Technician Robert Wilson, Chief Rick Bashor and Sergeant John Sellers.
