Teams of 2-4 strategize through a traditional scavenger hunt in Old Town by following clues, participating in healthy challenges, and utilizing smart phone technology. Teams perform silly activities at checkpoints, follow clues and answer questions to earn points. Prizes are awarded to teams who finish first, accumulate the most points, and wear the best uniforms! There are lots of random prize drawings at the finish line. 2014 will incorporate a "historical twist" to celebrate Lafayette's 125th Anniversary!
The Lafayette Quest is the primary fundraiser for Youth Scholarships at the Bob L. Burger Recreation Center and supports active, healthy, lifestyle habits in our community. Because of the Quest, this year we were able to allocate $4,500 in scholarships!
