[ARCHIVED] "Celebrating Bird Migration" Lake Waneka & Greenlee Marsh

Come celebrate the wonderful world of bird migration on Sunday, September 28th at 1:30pm. View birds through spotting scopes and binoculars. See a live hawk up close. Through art and a scavenger hunt, learn about migratory birds, marshes and the role birds play in our lives. These and other activities will be featured at "Celebrating Bird Migration" at Lake Waneka & Greenlee Marsh.

Meet naturalist, Martin Ogle at the Waneka East parking lot at 1:30pm on Sunday, Sept. 28th for an afternoon filled with wonder in observing migratory birds. This event is co-sponsored by: Lafayette Open Space, Environment for the Americas (home of International Migratory Bird Day), Birds of Prey Foundation, Project YES and the Parent Engagement Network.
