Children in kindergarten to 10th grade are invited to register for the 4th Annual Window Painting Contest. Participants can paint a Halloween, Día de los Muertos, and/or fall picture on an assigned exterior window space in Lafayette. Local artists will judge the paintings. Winners in each grade category receive prizes and awards. Children provide their own acrylic paint and supplies. Children may paint from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday, October 11 and Sunday, October 12, 2014 (rain/snow date is Saturday, October 18/Sunday, October 19). $3 registration fee ($5 for non-residents). Online registration requires an account (if you have never previously registered for an activity, requesting an online account takes only one business day).
NEW this year: The Awards Ceremony will take place at the FALL FESTIVAL, on Sunday, October 26th, at Lafayette’s Bob Burger Recreation Center with the Great Pumpkin Race and the Lions Club Pumpkin Carving Contest.
