[ARCHIVED] Santa Cop Program

Santa Cop

The Lafayette Police Department is once again organizing the Santa Cop program! This program coordinates gift donations for families in need in our community. Lafayette is a unique community that includes a wide range of incomes. Many people do not realize there are Lafayette families that struggle to provide basic life necessities. For these parents, providing holiday gifts for their children is next to impossible. If you know of or are a family in need, please find the attached nomination form or stop by the police department to fill out a nomination form. Nominations are due to the police department by November 28.

If you would like to help support this program, please consider donating new, unwrapped toys or making a monetary donation. Toy drop locations this year are at the Lafayette Police Department, City Hall, Recreation Center, Library & Golf Course and at King Soopers, Jax (both locations), Proto's Pizza & EZ Pawn. Cash or credit card donations can be accepted at the Lafayette Police Department & City Hall. We use monetary donations to purchase additional specific gifts that will meet other needs.

Santa's helpers this year include members of Elite Storage, Jax, Barlow's Premium Cigars & Pipes, Proto's Pizza, Walmart, Good Samaritan Hospital, Ergentus & Good Sam Foundation and many other Lafayette businesses & citizens! Hope to add you to our list! We could not do this program without support!

Thank you if you can help support Santa Cop this year and best wishes for a happy holiday season!
