Personal Activity Care Supplies
Many older adults are struggling to make ends meet due to financial or other unanticipated circumstances; some find themselves in extreme circumstances that they are unable to navigate independently.

GO PACS are intended to be a gesture of caring support to help make the difference for someone in the moment and then in the long term, if they follow through on the support and resources given.

GO PACS intends to impact an older adult by helping to first address any immediate need for food and water. Secondly, GO PACS address the need to feel safe by providing basic supplies
to enable personal care. Finally, GO PACS provide a sense of belonging to the community; the sense that someone in your community cares and is trying to help in a concrete way.
Through grants and in-kind support Lafayette GO Services intends to build 25 GO PACS that would be available for distribution through the GO Services Resource Coordinator. Our partners at Sister Carmen, the Police and Fire Departments will be encouraged to make referrals as the identify an older adult in Lafayette in need. GO PACS will contain resource information to assist the individual receiving the GO PAC in seeking assistance for a long-term solution.
