[ARCHIVED] Republic Services Customer Appreciation Free Compost Event Postponed- 5/30 & 6/6

The Public Works Department has decided to postpone the Republic Services compost event based on the rainy conditions we have been experiencing and the rain that is expected for the next 7 days. Normally rain would not cause this event to be postponed, but the grounds behind the Service Center have become extremely muddy and hazardous for all vehicles. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused, but we want to make sure citizens are able to safely move their vehicles around the yard to get their free compost.

Event will take place:
May 30th & June 6th only
9:00 am to 3:00 pm
City Service Center: 1700 Avalon Avenue. 80026

Residents must bring CITY OF LAFAYETTE WATER UTILITY BILL showing trash service cost and Driver's License.

Please bring containers and shovels. Help with skidsteer will be provided for truck beds and trailers. There is a two-trip maximum for trucks and trailers.

For the safety of all, please keep children and pets inside vehicle at all times.
