[ARCHIVED] LESAC to host “Art + Energy” booth at Art Night Out

Dream Lafayette

Visit the Lafayette Energy Sustainability Advisory Committee (LESAC) booth at Art Night Out and dream, write, or draw your ideas – from down to Earth to high in the sky - for a sustainable Lafayette.

While visiting the booth, learn about solar energy and other discounts, make suggestions for an arts flourishing city, win prizes, and get treats. Activities are intended for humans of all ages – from anyone old enough to hold a crayon or pen to everyone who still loves to learn and imagine.

LESAC Art + Energy Booth at Art Night Out
Friday, August 21, 2015 and September 18, 2015
5:00pm – 9:15pm
Old Town Lafayette on Public Road

Dream Lafayette is made possible through the collaboration of LESAC and the Lafayette Cultural Arts Commission. The purpose of Dream Lafayette is to engage the arts to attract curiosity about, interest in, and participation with LESAC’s 3 campaigns: residential EnergySmart, Green Business, and Solarize. Dream Lafayette will also encourage citizens to creatively reflect on their own lives and draw and write their ideas for a sustainable Lafayette – giving LESAC valuable feedback for its activities in the future. A temporary Dream Lafayette art installation and booth will be in place during the August 21, and September 18, 2015 Art Night Out Events designed to inspire people to think about sustainability in new ways.
