The following candidates have been certified to run in the City Council election on November 3, 2015. Four positions are open.

Christine Berg – incumbent
Alexandra Lynch – incumbent
Frank Phillips
Cliff Smedley
Stephanie Walton
Brad Wiesley – incumbent
Cliff Willmeng

Two Candidate Forums are scheduled to introduce Lafayette residents to City Council candidates, help them better understand the candidates’ platforms, and assist voters to make more informed decisions. Both forums will be broadcast live on Comcast Channel 8 and rebroadcast several times prior to the November 3 election. An online, recorded version will also be available via the City's on-demand Streaming Video webpage (
