[ARCHIVED] Dog attack in the 100 block of Beacon Hill on Tuesday

A report has been received of a dog attacked in the 100 block of Beacon Hill Drive on Tuesday, October 6. Beacon Hill Drive is located near 111th between Baseline Rd and Arapahoe. The dog is described as a 40-50 pound Bulldog and was attacked inside its own backyard. It is suspected a large predator attacked this dog. The dog did not survive the attack. The incident is under investigation and Colorado Parks & Wildlife has been notified. Please report any sitings of large wildlife in area to Police Dispatch at 303-441-1111.
