On February 5, 2016 at approximately 0902 hours officers of the Lafayette Police Department were advised Centaurus High School, located at 10300 South Boulder Road, went on a lockout after receiving multiple threatening telephone calls by an unknown male.
The school was secured by the Lafayette Police Department along with surrounding law enforcement agencies to ensure safety at the school while investigators attempted to gather leads.
Through the hard work of the Lafayette Police Department detective division, an arrest was made of an adult male at approximately 1345 hours in the city of Arvada. The case is still under investigation. The lockout at the high school has been released.

UPDATE 2/6/16: Lafayette Police have progressed in this investigation to the point we can now release the name of the arrested suspect and charges. We have arrested Dennis Martinez, age 21, from Arvada. He has been charged with Interference with Staff, Faculty or Students of an Education Facility, a class 1 misdemeanor and Menacing, a class 5 felony.
