[ARCHIVED] Seeking input from Old Town residents

OT meetings

How should we maintain the character of Old Town residential neighborhoods?

The unique character of Lafayette's Old Town residential neighborhoods is a vital part of our community.  As Lafayette has grown in recent years, so has interest in infill and redevelopment, major additions, and accessory dwelling units in Old Town.

The City of Lafayette and the Historic Preservation Board is seeking your input to create recommendations for maintaining the character and historic spirit of Old Town, while continuing to encourage reinvestment.

Download a map outlining the Old Town areas to be reviewed as part of potential design review criteria.

Please join us to share your input at one of two community workshops in February:
Thursday, February 23, 2017
6:30-8:30pm
Lafayette Senior Center / 103 S. Iowa

Saturday, February 25, 2017
10:00am - Noon
East Simpson Coffee Company / 414 E. Simpson

Each workshop will include the same materials and activities.  Attend the date most convenient for you.  If you're unable to attend either date, an online survey will be available by February 27 at www.cityoflafayette.com/Historic .
