[ARCHIVED] Colorado Crisis Services - A starting point for emotional help

Colorado Crisis Services phone

Crises can take many forms for many different people.  If you don't know where to begin getting mental health, substance use or emotional help for yourself or someone you know - start with Colorado Crisis Services.  They provide confidential and immediate support, 24/7/365.  If you are in crisis or need help dealing with one, call this toll-free number, 1-844-493-TALK (8255) or text TALK to 38255, to speak to a trained professional.

Some of the calls the Colorado Crisis Center receives are about relationship problems, family crises, anxiety, depression, substance abuse, suicidal thoughts, bullying, stress and disability.  When you call Colorado Crisis Services, you will be connected to a crisis counselor or trained professional with a master's or doctoral degree.  They offer translation services for non-English speakers.  They engage in immediate problem solving and always make follow-up calls to ensure you receive continued care.

Colorado Crisis Services's walk-in-crisis service centers are open 24/7, and offer confidential, in-person crisis support, information and referrals to anyone in need.  The walk-in-crisis intervention center in Boulder County is located at 3180 Airport Road in Boulder.  Services are provided for anyone regardless of age, diagnosis, insurance or address - and one does not need to be a Colorado resident.
