[ARCHIVED] Mental Health First Aid Course Offered in Lafayette

Mental Health Partners, our community based mental health center, is offering an 8-hour Mental Health First Aid course on Friday, April 28, 8AM-5PM at their Lafayette location, 1455 Dixon Avenue.  Mental Health First Aid  is a ground-breaking, internationally recognized, prevention program.  The course teaches participants the risk factors and warning signs of a variety of mental health challenges, empowering individuals to identify, understand and respond to those in mental health and substance abuse crises.  The course reduces stigma, enhances behavioral health literacy and improves participants’ behavioral health.    Cost is $35, free for MHP clients.
