The Lafayette Historic Preservation Board is offering grants to help defray the cost of maintenance, repairs and restoration of historic buildings. These grants are typically $500 to $1,000. To be eligible, buildings must be at least 50 years old and within Lafayette city limits, and improvement projects must meet various criteria.
