April 22 is Earth Day. As we endeavor to support our environment and live more sustainably, we encourage you to make a conscious effort to support Lafayette businesses striving to do the same. Shop these local businesses during Earth Week, and ALL YEAR long!

Sustainable garden supplies and organic produce

Jax Ranch and Home

  • Natural/organic pest and weed control
  • Beekeeping supplies
  • Organic seeds, compost, soil, and plants

Lafayette Florist

  • Organic and non-GMO seeds
  • Neonic-free and bee-friendly plants, flowers and greenhouse
  • Organically-grown herbs and veggies from a local Colorado grower
  • Organic bug, disease, and pest controls (ladybugs and praying mantis eggs)
  • Organic and natural soils, fertilizers, and weed and grass killers

Isabelle Farm, Farm Stand and CSA

  • A family-run, certified organic farm that grows more than 80 varieties of produce and grains. Goods are sold at their Lafayette Farm Stand in the Thomas Open Space Barn.
  • Receive a weekly selection of just-picked, in-season produce, through the farm’s community supported agriculture (CSA) program.
