[ARCHIVED] Mosquito Control Application at Waneka Lake on July 6 after 10:00pm

Vector Disease Control International (VDCI) will be fogging the Waneka Lake area on Thursday, July 6 after 10:00pm. This will take place weather permitting.

The City of Lafayette contracts with VDCI to conduct surveillance of adult mosquito populations and to provide limited adult mosquito control when pre-determined disease and annoyance thresholds have been surpassed. The goal is to provide the greatest level of pest control and disease vector mosquito populations while maintaining a balanced use of cultural, biological, and least-toxic chemical procedures that are environmentally compatible and economically feasible.

To report mosquito problems or concerns please call VDCI at 888-774-2161 or visit www.vdci.net/colorado.
