[ARCHIVED] Mosquito Control Application - NE Old Town & Greenlee Park 7/27 after dusk

Vector Disease Control International (VDCI) will be fogging the NE section of Old Town (an area encompassing Simpson St, N. Gough; E. Elm; and Burlington Ave.) & the Greenlee Park neighborhood on Thursday, July 27th after dusk.  This will take place weather permitting.  WEDNESDAY NIGHT'S APPLICATION WAS CANCELLED DUE TO RAIN.  To report mosquito problems or concerns please call VDCI at 888-774-2161 or visit www.vdci.net/colorado. The City of Lafayette contracts with VDCI to conduct surveillance of adult mosquito populations and to provide limited adult mosquito control when pre-determined disease and annoyance thresholds have been surpassed. The goal is to provide the greatest level of pest control and disease vector mosquito populations while maintaining a balanced use of cultural, biological, and least-toxic chemical procedures that are environmentally compatible and economically feasible.
