[ARCHIVED] Sign up for the Boulder County Severe Weather Alert Notification System

EAP

The Lafayette Police Department would like to remind you of Boulder County's free emergency alert system through Everbridge.  This system is for residents of Boulder County to be notified of emergency situations in a variety of ways.  This notification system now also includes severe weather alerts!  You can sign up to receive messages through several different means; cell phone, home phone or work phones.  Messages can also be received through email or text message.

You can select where and how you want to be notified of severe weather.  You can receive time sensitive information about locations that are important to you.  You can select multiple locations to be advised about such as home, work or school.

To register for emergency alerts and severe weather alerts please visit www.boco911alert.com.  Sign up is automatically for emergency alerts.  If you want to add severe weather alerts, select the weather options.  Users who have already established an Everbridge account for emergency notifications will need to re-register in order to add weather alerts.

For more detailed information, visit http://www.boulderoem.com/disaster-preparedness/informed/ens/

Outdoor sirens placed throughout Lafayette will continue to be activated during emergency weather situations for people outdoors.
