At their August 15 meeting, City Council was presented with the First Reading of Ordinance No. 30, Series 2017, Amending Chapter 26 of the Municipal Code regarding Old Town Design Criteria. These amendments came as a result of a consultant-led study, recommendations from the Planning Commission and Community Development Department, and multiple public input sessions and public hearings, to identify potential land use code changes intended to preserve the character of Old Town.
City Council approved on first reading the code amendments outlined in the document linked below. The second, and final, reading of Ordinance No. 30, Series 2017 will come before City Council at the September 5 meeting.
