In partnership with the Urban Drainage and Flood control District (UDFCD), the City of Lafayette will begin work on the construction of a drainage culvert north of the Police Department on 111th Street. This project will also include widening of 111th Street along the constructions area.

Work began in September 2017 and is expected to continue through late Spring 2018.  Periodic traffic delays may occur during this time.

A portion of 111th Street, north of the Lafayette Police Station, will be closed to through traffic October 2-7, 2017. Access to the Police and Fire Stations will be available from Baseline Rd., while access to Beacon Hill Dr.,  Lucerne Dr., Cabrini Dr. and Starlight Ave. will be available from Arapahoe Rd.
