[ARCHIVED] Mosquito Control Application - Blue Heron Estates & Heron Lake Meadows 7/26

Vector Disease Control International (VDCI) will be backpack spraying the trail between Blue Heron Estates and Heron Lake Meadows neighborhoods on Friday, July 27th during the daytime. This will take place weather permitting.To report mosquito problems or concerns please call VDCI at 888-774-2161 or visit The City of Lafayette contracts with VDCI to conduct surveillance of adult mosquito populations and to provide limited adult mosquito control when pre-determined disease and annoyance thresholds have been surpassed. The goal is to provide the greatest level of pest control and disease vector mosquito populations while maintaining a balanced use of cultural, biological, and least-toxic chemical procedures that are environmentally compatible and economically feasible.
