[ARCHIVED] Water Service Expected to Be Restored by 10:00pm 12/18/2012- West South Boulder Road Neighborhoods

south boulder road pipe repairs

Water service is expected to be restored by 10:00pm 12/18/2012 along South Boulder Road as a part of the scheduled maintenance.

Crews are working to connect the new PVC pipe to the existing pipe and they will continue working through the evening until they have completed the connection and the water is turned back on.

It is advised that citizens turn on a faucet in a kitchen or a bathroom now and when the water service is restored this evening it will begin flowing. There may be air caught in the water lines when service is turned back on. To bleed the air, run a faucet that has no aerator attached, such as an upstairs bathtub. If the water is discolored, run it until it is clear.

If you are still without water later this evening, please call Boulder County Dispatch at 303-441-4444 for assistance.

Affected neighborhoods and streets may include:
•Mesa Valley (Merry Lane, Mesa Drive)
•Bari-Donn Knolls (Whaley Drive, Bari Court, Donn Court)
•Fairview Estates (Brockway Drive, Crannell Drive, Eddy Place)
•Fairview Court (Brockway Drive, Crannell Drive)
•Sections along South Boulder Road (West of Crannell Drive)
•68th Street
•Sections of Cherryvale Road
